My approach is creative relational based on transparency, honesty and authenticity. I see every person as unique and draw on a wide range of therapy approaches to best help the client in their particular circumstances and concerns. The use of creative materials and interventions is integral to my work: it may be arts and play in my work with children; digital media when working with young people; and other imaginative or body based approaches with adults to promote and enhance the person??s healing process towards a sense of integration and wholeness. The processing of trauma in a person??s life - developmental, single events or collective experiences - has become a particular area of interest and ongoing focus of my professional and personal development.

I have over 25 years experience of working therapeutically in a variety of settings including NHS Mental Health; parent-infant clinic; pre-, primary and secondary schools; charities supporting families with children with special needs, the homeless, people in recovery from harmful substance use, fertility and sexuality related issues.

I have up-to-date DBS check and Level 3 Safeguarding Children training.

My clients include children and their parents, young people and adults, couples, trainee psychotherapists and counsellors, as well as referrals from employee assistance programmes.

Clients attend for sessions once or twice per week for long and short term therapy.

I provide clinical supervision for qualified psychotherapists and counsellors working with children, young people and adults.

My private practice is located in North London with excellent public transport links and free parking nearby.
