Nicole is registered with the UCKP as an Integrative Psychotherapist and with the HCPC as an Arts Psychotherapist.
Nicole completed her MA Psychotherapy training at IATE, London (The Institute for Arts and Therapy in Education).
Nicole has a Post Graduate Diploma in Supervision from The Minster Centre and she is currently on the IATE approved Supervisor list for Adults.
Her Clinical supervision practice is experiential, relational and integrative working with Psychotherapists, Counsellors and Psychologists.
Nicole is passionate about nurturing student potential and facilitates seminars at IATE and Anglia Ruskin University.
Over the past five years she has worked as an Integrative Psychotherapist and Supervisor in a secondary care NHS service where she has linked with training institutions to provide student placements.
Nicole's practice is contemporary, warm and robust. She prioritises the quality, safety and confidentiality of the therapeutic relationship and embraces the relationship of the brain, body, mind and spirit in her approach.
Nicole integrates many aspects and approaches to psychotherapy to suit the uniqueness of her clients’ needs (humanistic, psychodynamic, relational psychotherapy and embodiment, arts psychotherapy, EMDR, Somatic interventions for complex trauma and neuroscience).
Nicole recognises power dynamics in relationships and actively works with the impact of discrimination and prejudice to lay the foundations for safety, competence and collaborative dialogue.
Nicole offers bespoke therapeutic workshops and her clients include, MIND, Time Bank, Psychiatric and Forensic Units, IATE, Anglia Ruskin University and Educational Organisations.
Nicole's practice integrates her background as a Forum Theatre Director and Applied Drama Tutor where she has utilised the creative process to empower marginalised voices and effect social change over an 18-year period.
