Taster days (Interviews for admission)

How to apply: Taster Days / Taster Evenings

So what is the next step if you want to come and see what we do and perhaps apply for one of our courses?

An essential step in becoming a student here on any course is to attend one of our 'Taster Days'.

The Taster Days provide an introduction to all courses at The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education; and form an integral part of the interview process. There is a formal interview included on the day as well as two practical workshops and a presentation of case material to show you how we work.

Through our Taster events we endeavour to convey the fact that these are no ordinary vocational trainings, but rather the richest form of personal journey.

Times/Fees

Taster Day: The Taster Day will start at 9.15am for 9.30am, and finish at 5.30pm. People wishing to be considered for a course at The Institute will be asked to stay on until 6.30pm to attend the group interviews. The fee for the taster day is £75, which includes a full lunch and all refreshments. Taster evenings are at a cost of £45.

Booking procedure

In order to reserve a place please send the full fee (this includes your interview fee). This is non-refundable unless the group is already full or cancelled. Please make your cheque payable to IATE Ltd, and send it with your Taster Day booking form to: The Administration Office, IATE, 2-18 Britannia Row, London, N1 8PA. As the days are very popular, early booking is recommended.

You will also need to submit an application form, which can be sent in along with your Taster Day booking form, or handed into the registration desk on the Taster Day. By handing in your application form, you will automatically be allocated into an interview group.
